Qualifying for Municipal Office at the City of Doraville 

To hold elected office in the City of Doraville, representatives must be citizens of the United States, at least 21 years old, a Georgia citizen for at least two years, a legal resident of the district the representative was elected for at least one year, must be a registered voter of the City of Doraville, and must be a bona fide resident of the City of Doraville for at least one (1) year next preceding the date of the election in which they offer as a candidate.

Qualifying for the offices listed above will be held at Doraville City Hall located at 3725 Park Avenue, Doraville, Georgia 30340. Hours of qualifying are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

*Do Note that you can only qualify for one election/seat on the City Council.

The Election Division of the Secretary of State

The Elections Division of the Secretary of State's office organizes and oversees all election activity, including voter registration, municipal, state, county and federal elections. They are responsible for certification of election results as well as certifying the qualification of candidates and preparation of ballots and election forms and materials.
