With great fanfare, the Metro City Bank “officially” held their grand opening and ribbon-cutting on April 4. The bank, open for business for the past few months, is the latest addition to Doraville’s Buford Highway streetscape.
Bank and local business dignitaries were joined by Doraville Mayor Donna Pittman, City Manager Regina Williams-Gates, Councilman Joseph Geierman and Councilwoman Stephe Koontz for the festive occasion that featured Asian dancers and band performers.
Metro City Bank’s new 33,000 square-foot office building, on Buford Highway at McClave Drive, will serve as the bank’s main banking office, housing Metro City’s corporate and administrative offices including loan operations, deposit operations, accounting, compliance and human resources. As part of the bank’s agreement with Doraville, the project included a redesign of the McClave entrance to Northwoods.
